Hi dancers. Here are your videos for this week. We will warm up and stretch our bodies and then use a scarf to follow along and dance. You can follow along with my video or dance with someone in your home. I hope you have fun. Warm-Up RoutineScarf Dance Activity

Hello dancers! This week's activity is a little tricky but a lot of fun. You are going to do the mirror dance. A mirror is a piece of glass that shows you your own reflection. It copies what you do at the same time that you do it. You can look at yourself in a mirror in the bathroom (some other places are in a bedroom, on a car or bus, in a dressing room). I'd like you to either follow along on my video and mirror either me or my son, OR you can find someone in your house to dance with. One of you will be the leader and make the moves while the other person is the MIRROR and copies the moves at the same time. Then switch jobs so you both have a turn to be a leader and a mirror. You're going to think of your favorite dance moves and try them out with your stuffy for 4 counts of 8. Don't forget to have fun. Remember that your family is ALWAYS welcome to dance with you. This week we will be starting with our warm-up and stretches and then doing a choreography assignment where we start with one finger and add the rest of our body until everything is moving and dancing. Then we will start to subtract body parts until only one finger is left moving. Have fun! Happy dancing. Warm-Up VideoAdding and Subtracting Dance |
